Students of Systematic Musicology (SysMus15, 17th-19th September) is
now open. Interested students and scholars are invited to register at

SysMus15 is hosted by the University of Leipzig in association with
SEMPRE (http://www.sempre.org.uk), under the direction of Laura
Neumann and the scientific supervision of Prof. Sebastian Klotz.
Keynote speakers are:
Dr. Daniela Sammler (Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and
Brain Sciences, Leipzig)
Prof. Eric Clarke (University of Oxford) and
Prof. Matthias Vogel (University of Giessen)
Moreover, the programme includes about 30 paper presentations on all
aspects on systematic musicology as well as two panel presentations on
the topics „Musicology as Activism" and „Cultural and Cognitive
Approaches to Unfamiliar Repertoire", to be held by Master's and PhD
students from all over the world, besides a social programme including
a conference dinner and diverse activities.
