From September 2015, the Institute of Musical Research will be based at Royal Holloway, under the directorship of Dr. Geoff Baker.
The new IMR's first initiative is to offer a number of grants to help early career scholars put on small research events in collaboration with music departments or colleges. The scheme is detailed here:
