Dear all,
On Monday, 24 November 2025, 7-8:30PM, I will join Emily Howard, Marcus du Sautoy, and Lauren Redhead in a panel at King's College London's Strand Campus moderated by Rachel Bearon (Dean of King's Faculty of NMES) to discuss the creative process in music and maths.
All are welcome; the event is free but registration (follow link below) is required. There will be an opportunity to mingle and chat over a reception hosted by Rachel Bearon afterwards.
Best wishes,
Elaine

The connection between maths and music stretches back centuries, with maths inspiring new musical forms and music enabling mathematicians to expand beyond the limits of their craft to explore expansive soundscapes in their work.
Hear from a panel of distinguished academics and performers working at the cross-section of these two disciplines as they share insights on the connection between their creative processes.
