Discovering the Potential of your Voice

Virtual event

Wednesday 21 April 2021

17:30 - 18:45, Free

We'd like to invite you to the final event in our Lockdown Lights series, and this time we're focusing on the power of your own voice.

What is it about not always liking the sound of our own voice? How do we describe other people's voices? What's the difference between a singing voice and a speaking voice?

Delve into the fascinating world of sound and learn more about the power of the human voice with UCL researcher Dr Evangelos Himonides and composer Hannah Conway who will lead an interactive workshop exploring our very own instrument. Our resident DJ Richard DeDomenici will spin tracks to set the scene and compliment the activities.
